This abundance of equipment combined with a lack of loads is a true testament to the mismanagement of the company during 2023.
For over a year I've been watching Knight lose customers and their top-tier drivers. They certainly appear to be moving from the driver-retention model to the driver-replacement model.
Add to all of that, Knight-Swift's poorly run offices and a push to keep buying other companies (perhaps to get their unsuspecting customers), and I think you've got a real mess.
